ARTHOUSE  BROCHURESChapels have been interesting intersection of architecture, art, and religion throughout modern history. Ando Tadao’s Church of Light in Osaka, Japan or Louise Nevelson’s sculptural installation inside St. Peter’s in New York City are of many cherished chapels from the 20th century. A New York based sculptor & site-specific artist Sook Jin Jo’s three recent architectrual installations and construction of chapels in South America are featured in a series of brochures. It highlights the process and the artist’s vision to create a common space for the locals in harmony with the nature. The brochures were displayed along with her documentary series Art House, as part of the artist’s solo exhibition in Artego gallery, NYC in 2024.
